The development of technology in Indonesia is experiencing very rapid development in various fields, one of which is in the field of education. Education is one of the pillars that support the progress of a nation. In the teaching and learning process, there is already a lot of use of technology. SMK Bayu Pertiwi is one of the private educational institutions that has several school facilities, one of which is the library. However, the library has not implemented computerized technology in managing library data and still uses a manual recording system using books as a medium for storing and recording library data. The library has various problems in managing library data. Where the problem that is often faced is the difficulty in tracking library books that are borrowed and returned. Sometimes there are obstacles in collecting library membership data, book data and making library data reports. Therefore, the author is interested in helping and overcoming the problems that exist in the school, by creating an application that can be used to change the conventional system into a web-based application system that can be used to manage data on borrowing and returning library books. The goal is to create a web-based library loan and return system application using the PHP programming language and data storage media using Mysql. Expected from the application.
