This research aims to design and develop a temperature control and monitoring system for a heat press machine using Arduino Uno, with an LM35 sensor for temperature detection, an I2C LCD for displaying information, and LED indicators and a buzzer as status indicators. This system is designed to eliminate the need for operators to constantly monitor the machine’s main screen, thereby improving work efficiency. The red LED lights up during the heating phase (<150°C), while the green LED and active buzzer indicate readiness when the temperature reaches 150°C. Testing results show that the system can provide real-time and accurate temperature information. However, challenges were encountered due to fluctuating temperature readings, causing rapid changes in the LCD display. To address this issue, system improvements were implemented by using Arduino’s 1.1V internal reference voltage and incorporating a sensor reading averaging filter to stabilize the displayed temperature. With this system, operators can work more efficiently without the need for constant manual temperature checks. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance temperature monitoring accuracy, reduce errors in the printing process, and support smooth production operations at PT. Mansyur Jersey.
