This study aims to evaluate the proximate content of rice straw silage-based complete rations with the addition of EM4 (Effective Microorganisms). The study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and five replicates. The treatments included: PO (complete ration silage without rice straw), P1 (complete ration silage with 25% rice straw), P2 (complete ration silage with 50% rice straw), and P3 (complete ration silage with 75% rice straw). Parameters observed included dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, and ash content. The results showed that all proximate parameters tested were significantly affected (P<0.05) by increasing the proportion of rice straw in the complete ration. Although crude protein and crude fat content decreased as the percentage of rice straw increased, dry matter and crude fiber content increased. Based on these results, it can be concluded that silage complete rations with a composition ofup to 50% rice straw (P2) still have good nutritional value and have the potential to be used as an alternative feed for ruminants, replacing conventionalfeed.
