The circulation pump continuously circulates coolant in the cooling system to absorb heat from equipment that requires cooling in the production process at the dove plant. The circulation pump rotation speed controller uses an inverter. The research method used is a quantitative method. This study aims to analyze the effect of using an inverter on the circulation pump and to compare the electricity consumption of the circulation pump using an inverter and without an inverter. The results showed that the number of motor rotation speeds was directly proportional to the frequency and electrical power of the motor. The average comparison in 1 day of electricity consumption of the circulation pump using an inverter was 6.56 kW while the electricity consumption of the circulation pump without an inverter was 10.98 kW. The savings in electricity consumption obtained by the circulation pump using an inverter were 4.42 kW per day. The electricity consumption of the circulation pump using an inverter is much more efficient than the circulation pump without an inverter because the use of an inverter can regulate the motor rotation speed which results in the output voltage and motor current not always being in maximum and constant conditions, so that electricity consumption is much lower.
