There are many applications for underground electrical cable detection tools on the market with different working methods, but the measuring tools still use a manual system. Based on the description above, the author will design a tool to detect underground cable breaks at a measurable distance to make it easier for workers to carry out maintenance or search for cable damage so that it can be repaired. The design of the underground cable damage detector or detector is designed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, it can detect according to a predetermined distance, the LCD only displays the distance of the broken cable, with a distance specified in the design of 1 meter to 5 meters, if the points are L and N In a completely disconnected state, the LCD only displays that the L and N cables are disconnected and does not display the distance. The design of this underground cable damage detection tool was made to make it easier for officers to track the damage and carry out repairs
